Amor on the Way to Belén
A Planning on Christmas Depth of the Ocean Novella
All she wants for Christmas is to bless a community with cheer, but instead, she’s force fed friendship and burritos. What could possibly go wrong?
Navidad is nearly here, and much like the journey of the Burrito Sabanero in the traditional Christmas song on its way to visit the baby Jesus in Belén, Mari has her work cut out for her.
As the lead engineer responsible for the park installation in an underserved community, the pressure is on to provide a high-quality communal gathering place before her beloved island of Puerto Rico shuts down for the Christmas holidays. Not only is her deadline tight, but the risk of sabotage throws a wrench into her plans: Rafi, the new security guard hired to keep her project safe and on time.
Except Rafi isn’t new at all. He is Mari’s lifelong friend and first big heartbreak.
