My Id List

What is an ID list?

This week, during my amazing Thursday critique group, my friend Amy asked me if we knew what an ID list was, and I had never heard of it before. So I had to deep dive into some research, including the podcast she sent me, and while this is my interpretation of what an ID list is, I think that:

An ID list is a list of things that if you read it, you're going to give the book five stars, kick your feet like an infatuated teenager, or keep coming back to.

For some reason, I love a good wall-lean scene, a good chin lift scene, and a good exploration scene-and I will read them with so much gusto.

Do I have an ID list?

Not yet, but I have decided that as I read for the next (rest of my life) little while, I'm going to read to see what I can add to my ID list. <3 It sounds like a fun journey!
